The Rulers executed their plan and succeeded in killing the Absolute Being, acquiring fragments of his power. Ashborn became so angry with his fellow Rulers that he decided to join the Monarchs in their fight against them. With the addition of Ashborn, the Monarchs became more powerful, shifting the balance of power and bringing difficulty for the Rulers.
